The 2008-09 school year will mark our school's 25th anniversary. We have been very blessed over the  years  with  an  outstanding  teaching  staff that truly believe in the importance of a quality early learning experience for all children.    Our P.T.G. officers and our newly formed School Board have begun making plans for various celebrations to mark this mile-stone for our school.

We have found that families select our school primarily because of our Catholic Church affiliation and  our  reputation.   With that being said,  we will be offering a  tuition  rebate of  $100.00  off  the annual tuition to each family who refers another family to our school. The rebate(s) will be credited two months after the new family begins classes.

Curriculum

The Developmental process includes an open-ended curriculum which is child-centered and lends to the NATURAL development and sequence of learning - one which takes its direction from the child's needs rather than from time schedules created by adults.

The faith formation of a young child is an ongoing process. Ideas about God and His world are incorporated into the daily classroom activities as opportunities present themselves. Church liturgies are acknowledged in age-appropriate ways.

Recognizing that PLAY IS ESSENTIAL to learning, our environment is designed whereby children learn through their play. Children test, explore, discover, adapt, classify, organize and recognize their experiences as they play.

The curriculum is designed with a child's social, emotional, physical, intellectual and adaptive behaviors in mind. Children experience it through a "hands-on" approach.

All language arts encompass a whole language approach. Written and verbal skills are developed on an individual basis.

All math curriculum is a manipulative approach.

Curriculum is introduced through thematic units of study as well as emergence from children's interest and curiosity. Field trips which correlate with the units of study are planned.

Kindergarten curriculum is developmentally appropriate to the specific make-up of the children enrolled each year. The curriculum follows the State of California framework and is consistent with the guidelines of the Diocese of San Bernardino.
